Uh-oh.... Something might be hitting the fan in 32 days

and I'm not talking about Israeli missiles in Tehran (although that might be coming soon, too)...

Looks like someone finally got the right kind of judge to take a look at Obama's citizenship issue. Curiously, there is nothing published about this case in the news. I haven't even seen it on Fox. But I did research the case on the Federal court's own electronic docket, and I have confirmed that it is a real case, and that the dates and orders are real. (I haven't seen the latest order setting the trial for January 2010, though). On Monday morning, the court will be deciding whether this case should continue. Based on Judge Carter's previous remarks, it would seem that he is amenable to continuing the case. If so, an Early Discovery Order will be requiring the president to produce his genuine birth certificate within 30 days -- NOT the "Certificate of Live Birth," by the way, which he posted on the internet, and which could have been acquired even if he was not born in the United States.

Now, I have no idea whether Obama is actually a U.S. citizen, but at a minimum, I find it incredibly suspicious that "the most transparent president ever" would be spending million$ fighting the release of something so (ostensibly) innocuous as a birth certificate. And the American people should NOT have to rely on the word of the Hawaiian governor (Republican or not) who claims to have personally reviewed the orginal birth certificate. Governor Lingle ordered that document sealed last October and barred all public access to it. In the name of transparency, and for the sake of legitmizing his office, Obama should have already released that document. Assuming it confirms his U.S. birth, why in the world hasn't he already done so? What would be such a compelling reason NOT to release that record -- assuming it confirms a U.S. birth?

Now assume, for a minute, that the president will actually be shown to have lied about his citizenship. On the one hand, it would seem to be great news for the Republic. We would have legal grounds to oust the Marxist from the White House. But, on the other hand -- What would happen next??? Do all of Obama's excutive orders get invalidated? What about the bailouts? The GM takeover? All of Obama's political appointments? Does Biden become president? He was not elected president -- He was merely chosen by an ineligible candidate to succeed that ineligible candidate. I would think that we would have to return to the election results and hand the Oval Office to the person who got the next highest amount of votes -- John McCain (hopefully he will remain in good health, for without McCain, there would be a very strong argument -- GET THIS -- that the next in line for succession would become president: It is therefore conceivable that we would have a Madame President Nancy Pelosi! 11.gif Would Obama be prosecuted for defrauding the American people and be deported as an illegal alien? (Yes -- He would be an illegal alien and be subject to deportation.)

But all of this presupposes that the rest of America would simply go along with the enforcement of the Constitution. And I don't think for a second that would happen. Sadly, I suspect that there would instead be a huge flood of violence because the Left and their Cro-Magnon minions will argue that the "Natural Born Citizen" provision is unimportant (they never miss an opportunity to denigrate the Constitution when it doesn't support their position) and they will happily ignore the fact that Obama lied outright about his eligibility -- because to them, nothing matters more than having their Socialist in office -- including the truth or the Constitution itself, the highest law of the land. What would happen during the transition process if the country is in flux about its legitimate commander in chief? To whom would the military answer until this unprecedented question is resolved? Would Obama order martial law to keep his power? Would federal forces oblige him? Would the market crash even more than it already has? Would we consequently be vulnerable to attack during such a precarious time? Yikes!!!!!

So, if Obama's citizenship turns out to be something other than American -- buckle up. We'll be headed for uncharted territory, and it would be very messy.
