An Asteroid and Scott
Doomsday has been temporarily delayed -- we have dodged another asteroid. Our future may well depend on how many citizens realize we had a near miss, and on how many people give thought to avoiding the next attack. While only a few weeks ago our prospects looked so bleak, the efforts of many citizens proved General George Washington right as he wrote during the siege of Boston: “Perseverance and spirit have done wonders in all ages.”
For months, Americans stared Socialist policies and Communist tactics in the face. Many never put such harsh names to what they saw but they knew they didn’t like it, and neither did Scott Brown. All seemed lost – 1/6th of our economy was to be turned over to a voracious, bloated government – that is until the senate Health Care tactics became so public and abhorrent to the average citizen that they rebelled and elected a man who was willing to stand up against the odds. In one bold decision to run, Brown announced his opposition to congressional corruption – corruption on a scale never before slapped across the face of American voters – and he opposed national insolvency and the Marxist tactics of Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals."
Now is the time, while we have a brief delay in the storm, that Americans – from adults to children – need to assess what has been done, why it was done, and what needs to be done to fireproof our country from the continuing threat that awaits us in ambush.
Many pundits have jumped to explain Scott Brown’s victory, but they either avoid or want to disguise the real reasons. They say ‘the Democratic majority must listen better, they must show the electorate that they know the economy and jobs are important, that they are trying to do too many “good” things at once and it is expensive’. Those reasons may have influenced some voters, but they ignore the most important issues which must be stated loudly and clearly: The citizens of Massachusetts repudiated the Socialist policies and Marxist tactics being forced on them, and they rebelled against corruption.
The home state of John Adams and the community in which he lived -- so close to Boston -- has given all Americans a moment to consider the Marxist path we are on. That path can lead us slowly, almost imperceptibly, toward Communism or it can swallow us up in gigantic gulps as it almost did.
Meanwhile, most of the conservative media, except Mark Levin, author of bestseller "Liberty and Tyranny", is clinging to politically correct language. That is a disservice. It was only a few months ago that many internet users feared retribution if they were to openly discuss Obama's Marxist training during his formative years, and his on-going association with radicals. Those fears represented a loss of their freedom of speech just as surely as if the Bill of Rights were to be nullified.
We must all understand Socialism, Communism, and Marxism, or we will be governed by them. They will sneak up on us and overtake us before sufficient numbers recognize the tell-tale signs. In his monumental series, “The Story of Civilization,” Will Durant – America's best known historian – warned the entire world that Communism is like a wolf endlessly circling the city walls, looking for an opening to enter. The Massachusetts election just closed the gate on one such wolf. The pack still circles the walls.
We should recognize and celebrate what a great victory has been won, and then prepare to keep the next wolves out. We cannot count on the fraudulent media elite to sound the alarm. They have proven their preference for eloquent Marxists to capable, stable and practical-thinking Americans. They would undoubtedly have snubbed George Washington for his formal education which stopped after the seventh grade. His integrity, his honor, his vision, and his common sense would have meant nothing to them. His honesty would have been a welcome target. Washington was more interested in his country than personal power.
We can thank Massachusetts for this win but in the next attack they may not be able to close the gates in time. We were too close to becoming 1/6th Communist. That would have been 1/6th of our economy swallowed in one bite. We can educate ourselves and our children by studying the evils and woes the circling wolves have in store for us. We can use the internet, we can have neighborhood discussion sessions. This is not something we can leave to teachers and professors.
The Tea Party is helping to bring America together by setting higher standards for our elected officials. The Tea Party is already vetting many local and national candidates. The result will mean fewer corrupt, well known criminals in government. Violators in office will be more readily discovered and thrown overboard in disgrace instead of receiving high level appointments. Perhaps the Tea Party will also take part in offering the education we all need. With their leadership we may not have to depend on one single state to fight off the wolf pack. We will be relying on ourselves and our own communities. Our education should begin with every American understanding that Socialism, with Marxist tactics, leads to Communism and every Communist government has ultimately failed and left its people in ruin. Each step toward economic socialization, no matter how small, must be carefully weighed to ensure its value is worth the risk of burying ourselves in the accumulated mass of granules.
Each generation educated in the risks of Socialism will mean that democracy will survive in our American republic that much longer, because we will not be conquered from the outside but only by the Socialists within.

P.S. No, I am not a member of the Tea Party, but I admire those who are. They do not work for personal power or to start a third party. Whatever their political affiliation, they work towards more responsible government, less corruption, higher quality leadership, and adherence to our Constitution. I do believe they will bring better candidates to the voters.
