The Menace of the Obamatrons

In the months prior to the November election in the year 2008 the United States was under siege by a robotic army that was known as the Obamatrons.


These creatures had flesh and blood bodies, but had robot brains. Outwardly they appeared much like normal people except for the greenish tint of their fingers, a pinkish cast to their skin, and eyes that glowed pink.


There were two types of Obamatrons: Type V1 (victim-1) Obamatrons were irrevocably programmed to believe that they were being victimized by forces beyond their control and that they were entitled to compensation for their perceived victimization.


Obamatrons with type S1 (savior -1) brains believed that their mission was to suck financial resources from non-Obamatrons and inject type V1 Obamatrons with those resources.


Other than these differences each Obamatron's brain was programmed to respond in much the same way as the brains of other Obamatrons.


A salient characteristic of an Obamatron's Obamabrain was that its core mechanism would not accept reprogramming. In fact, it would not accept any new information whatsoever save that which supported its original programming. Thus, if you established communications with any particular Obamatron, it was like communicating with any of the rest of them.


Each Obamatron was programmed to accept that Obama was an intermediate deity, at the least, and possibly some sort of savior.


OBAMATRON PROGRAMMING


Obamatrons came programmed for the following behaviors:


When confronted with logic they would either deny the facts, or change the subject. Thus, when confronted with Obama's lack of military experience they were programmed to respond that John McCain wrecked two jet fighter planes that cost the taxpayers millions.


Obamatrons were programmed to state conclusions and non-sequiturs rather than logic. Some of the situational responses for which Obamatrons were programmed were as follows:


Concerning change (any change): "It is time…"


Reasoning why America should have a black President: "There are more non-whites in the world than whites"


Also reasoning why America should have a black President: "It is time we had a black President."


Why we should get out of Iraq as quickly as possible, ignoring all consequences: "It was a mistake to go into Iraq.


Why Obama deserves our support: "We must all come together."


Why Obama deserves our support (#2): "We must end divisiveness."


Response to mention of any unresolved problem in America: "America is the greatest country in the world. We must change it."


SOME OTHER OBAMATRON SUB-ROUTINES


Big government is good. The free enterprise system is not.


Abortion is a legitimate form of birth control and is more fun for the guy than using a condom.


Government is more capable of making the right decisions for individuals than individuals are of making the right decisions for themselves.


It is a greater priority that we not pose any inconvenience to elk and caribou than it is to make it possible for households to afford fuel.


The economy of the United States is just like that of any household. The budget must be balanced regardless of its effect on our international security, our safety, and our quality of life. [Comment added 5/6/2009: Remember way back when the libs and Obama were saying this was necessary?]


Increasing the capital gains tax will get those rich s.o.b.s. Who cares if they invest or not?


We have too much military. It is an unnecessary expense.


The United States needs to regain its international goodwill. We've been too heavy handed. It's more important to be popular than safe.


We can reason with those who hate us.


Although 9/11 was tragic, we deserved it.


The government needs to run the store on health care. Look what it did for New Orleans.


When confronted with Obama's lack of experience Obamatrons would propose that lack of experience was a good thing. Obamatrons didn't want experience or ability. They wanted change.


When confronted with emerging information about Obama's relationship with Bill Ayers, the Weatherman, Obamatrons excuse it by claiming that the two were neighbors and casual acquaintances.


When confronted with Obama's flip-flopping on election issues Obamatrons claimed that flip-flopping was a good thing, its purpose being justified as an election tactic to help Obama win the election.


When confronted with any Obama inconsistencies that they cannot explain away by applying any of the Obamatron sub-routines, Obamatrons simply deny the inconsistency or change the subject.


When confronted with Michelle's statements that America is a mean country, and she became proud of it for the first time, Obamatrons attack Cindy McCain by saying that she was dependent on pain medication that she took for a legitimate medical purpose for a period of time.


When confronted with the record that Obama sat in a church that preached black liberation theology and hatred of whites for 20 years, Obamatrons claim that Obama put that behind him by overtly severing his relationship with Rev. Wright and dropping his membership in Trinity Church.


When confronted with Obama's sometime lack of patriotic symbolism, Obamatrons excused it as not being an issue.


When confronted with McCain's military record of heroism, Obamatrons counter with "only in America would a kid with a white mother and black father have the opportunity to rise from obscurity to become a Presidential candidate.


Some of the Obamatrons would exhibit aggressive behaviors toward those who would challenge their beliefs. This group of Obamatrons became known as the Obamamaniacs.


The year 2008 was the year that the Obamatrons marched to the polls to send their candidate to the White House. Their purpose was to change the greatest nation in the world, the United States of America, into a socialist Obamanation.
