The Administration Is Using Some Interesting Math

What if I told you I lost 10 pounds...
But I didn't?
Actually, I didn't lose so much as a single pound.
What I did is not eat like a hog on a very long vacation.
So the 10 pounds I could have "gained," I didn't.
So, I turn it around to say I “lost” 10 pounds.
Nuts, right?
Sure, if I tried pulling that.
No one in their right mind would let me get away with that.
So...
Why are they happily letting the White House get away with that?
Here's the deal...
When are 600,000 new jobs not necessarily new?
When that number includes jobs reportedly "saved."
Hard to prove that, but the Obama Administration continues pushing that... Saying its economic program, not only created or saved 150,000 jobs to date...But four times that number not too far from this date.
Again -- how do you prove jobs saved versus new jobs, period?
I'll tell you.
You don't. You can't.
But if this is the new math to justify this new spending...Get ready for more new math and apparently, a lot more new spending.
The danger with justifying piling on real dough for maybe not-so-real jobs, is pretty soon, you've got a real problem.
You're using specious math to justify specious spending.
And no one argues.
Because you just spouted numbers to back you up.
Even though we're the only ones here to tell you: None of these numbers add up.
Not even close.
